Dear family,

We are so excited to invite you to the Ulvedal Family Reunion on July 23-30, 2022 at Sunriver, Oregon. It will be a fun time and we can’t wait to see you there!

We highly recommend that you reserve lodging soon, as many people are booking Sunriver lodging a year out. We have created a Reunion Website, SunriverReunion.com, where you can find info on how to book lodging. You can also learn about Sunriver, our event schedule, and travel. Soon, you will be able to register your family, order T-shirts, and sign up for activities. We'll send another email when Registration opens!

We encourage you to forward this email to all of your relatives. (We are afraid that our email could get caught in Junk folders.) Also, we do not have everyone’s email addresses, so your help in spreading the word is greatly appreciated.

Here are some of the fun activities. The Picnics and Dinner Dance are intended for all, but you can pick and choose the other events that interest you -- there is something for everyone!

Picnics at Fort Rock Park

There will be two picnics at Fort Rock Park, one on Sunday, July 24th and another on Wednesday, July 27th. We have reserved the large covered pavilion, along with the grass field and sand volleyball court for games. A catered picnic dinner and activities are provided, so come ready to play and have fun!

The Great Reunion Race

On Monday, July 25th, we have the Ulvedal version of the Great Urban Race. It is a bike adventure around Sunriver in which teams solve clues. Wear your reunion T-shirt, bring your phone for a camera, and meet at Fort Rock Park to make teams and get instructions. Kids are welcome!

Golf at Lost Tracks Golf Course

We will be reserving tee times for golf at Lost Tracks Golf Course for Tuesday, July 26th for those who want to golf.

Deschutes River Fun Float

The Deschutes River flows through Sunriver. On Thursday, July 28th, we will meet at the Sunriver Marina. Rent your raft or canoe from the Marina in advance. The float is all on calm water, no rapids. This is a fun event and you may want to bring your water cannons or water balloon launchers! At the end of the float, you'll take a bus back to the Marina.

Mt. Bachelor

On Wednesday, July 27th, we will visit the beautiful Mt. Bachelor, where you can take an easy chair lift ride to the top or, for the daring, a thrilling zipline tour down the mountain!

Paulina Plunge

On Friday, July 29th, we will go to Paulina Peak (Newberry Crater) where we will ride Fat Tire mountain bikes down the peak along Paulina Creek. We will stop at up to 6 stunning waterfalls and water slides! More info about the Paulina Plunge here

If you can’t make it for the whole week, please come for a few days. We really want to see you. Please feel free to invite friends.
